At Madison Editions a proof is made for your approval before your image is printed. Proofing is also recommended after retouching is completed to assure that your changes are correct. Once your proof is approved and in our studio, the fine art prints will be produced. A proof is a print designed to demonstrate both the quality of the file and the accuracy of our printing based on following your directions or matching a guide or original. Your proof will be kept on file for future prints. Once an image has gone through the extensive proofing process, additional prints can be produced on an as-needed basis. You do not have to print your entire edition at one time. The proof will ensure consistency and quality throughout your edition.
